Hi,
There was a lot of correspondence on this topic in the SS section with opinions divided between Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler or a shipping line - .
Hamburg America Line (I think).
I think the votes were in favour of the latter, there are subtle differences in the lettering.
You might be "opening a can of worms" here!

To add to Grossfuss's comment, there has been a couple of articles in the last two issues of the "Armourer" regarding pieces with this logo and where they originated from.
