    Unidentified Bakelite 'Tool' anyone?

Hi Chaps, I have been sent these photos of a 'bring back' from none other
    than the Battery at Longues-sur-Mer!

I have had a look ont tinterweb, but cannot find anything other than the
holder has the mark 'BWZ' and was made by'
    Auer-Gesellschaft AG, Werk Oranienburg.
I have absolutely no idea what this can be be other than some sort of setting tool!

    Here's AJ's description....
    "
    <style> .hmmessage P { margin:0px; padding:0px } body.hmmessage { font-size: 10pt; font-family:Verdana } </style>It is made of bakelite and pulls apart in the center, expanding length wise.
There are 6 metal pins in the end but no wires. There are also yellow and green stripes along the side with the pins.
Do you have any ideas? I was thinking it was used to set fuses
    ".

    Cheers
    Gary
