    A couple more straps

    Hi,
A set of gasmask straps by "clg 42" and three different pieces by "bcb 44" - Otto Graf, Heeresausruestungen und Sattlerwarenfabrik, Leipzig N 22, Planitzstr. 19. Each item purchased individually, greatly distanced in time and space!
Any other "bcb" bits out there?
    Regards,
    Grossfuss

I would also vote that gas mask straps are repros.

I have to agree, the straps and hardware dont look good to me. also Im not into all the markings on your second grouping either. I dont have good vibes on any of it. Glenn

                Thanks for the comments,
The gasmask set was given to me by a German guy a few years ago after I bought a load of stuff from him - if anyone else has a similar set which can be shown to be repro please post them up.
I cannot remember where the leather strap came from but the MG muzzle cover was given to me by a friend of many years' standing and the barrel-changing mitt came from yet another friend who had over a hundred which were part of the Portuguese MG34 hoard, along with barrel containers, E and P-tins etc. etc.
No fancy stories with any of it but all from totally different sources.
                Regards to all,
                Grossfuss

The gas mask straps are 100% identical (apart from the markings) to my post-war NVA straps.

                    Hi,
Thanks (? ) for that - I was hoping the gasmask set were OK because the webbing wasn't the typical coarse BW webbing and it was a subtle little stamp positioned inside the fold rather than a huge stamp and a WaA to make it more obvious.
                    Any more out there?
                    Regards,
                    Grossfuss
