pair of gloves for review

Hello gents,

Would like to have some opinions on these winter gloves.

Found them on a flea-market today and thought they were
german (for the eastern front)

The marking is as follow: 9 SAGE

IMO they are German , and were made to go with the coats made of the same materials , which were common on the Eastern front .

I agree; It´s IMO such Kind of Stuff the Germans made after the heavy Winter in Russia 1941/42. Before 1942 they had only wool and Leather Gloves

Why not ordinary civilian gloves? What makes them military issue? (it's not that they have a trigger finger or so)
