    Gasmaske near mint,opinion please!

My friend have this M30 gasmask that shows the Luftschutz stamp inside the mask.
Can someone tell me if this complete mask is miltary or paramilitary?

                      Hello,
the M36 canister is very nice. It has the type of closure system used in 1936/37. It is an army canister. As you said already the M30 gasmask is from the Luftschutz. The FE37 filter is also very nice
I don't know if the set was issued this way or if it is a put together

                          Hi

Impossible to say if this set belongs together. But my guess would be Luftschutz. The shorter cannisters were issued to second line and Luftschutz when the longer cannister were introduced.

Also most of the time, military were numbered, or there would be a name tag on the straps of the mask itself which would correspond to the cannister.

                          Tom

cant really say anything about this example except that it looks nice and just like K98s, they seem to be the most marked German regalia out there. I love all those markings. mines the same way, everywhere you look theres another marking. Glenn
