zeltbahn help wanted!!

Last week I bought this zeltbahn, can't harm to tell who the dealer is.
kai winkler, nordheide versand Deutschland.
Known, reliable dealer in my opinion.
anyway the zeltbahn, this was above the adverstisement at kai winkler's site:
Wehrmacht Heer Tarnzeltplane in Splittertarnung, ungewöhnliche
Versuchs oder Mustertarnung in beidseitig gleicher heller Tarnung, ohne
Stempelung, komplett mit Bändern und Aluminium Nieten und Knöpfen, absolut

Price: EUR 78,00(60% discount normal price 195 euro)

the site claims to sell only original products unless clearly said reproduction! this is to be seen on his site if wanted)
So what is yout opinion on this zelt??
It has 4 hole grommets and the zelt could be reversed but when done you'd see the same side again
exactly the same pattern printed on both sides.
about the grommets, 3 holes are normal ( 99% has 3 holes in them) the other 1% has 4 holes.

hope you guys can help me out, still have the insurance for 2 weeks to return the zelt if wanted.

to be honest, this gives me a bad taste in my mouth.

I know there are zeltbahne which have the same print on both sides, but as far as I know these were late war variants. The fact that this one has alu gromets and rivets also does add up to the fact that it's not right.
Also the 4 hole buttons makes me wonder...

All in all, too much alarmbells, so I wouldn't want it in my collection

I dont like this zelt and this dealer with 60% discount

Sorry, this Zelt isn't authentic....

If it was real it would easily bring 150 - 200 among collectors...not to mention dealer prices.

I'll admit I don't know too much about Heer Camo but I can say the the button holes do not look right nor do the grommets. I'm not too keen on the 4 hole zelt buttons either. Unfortunately, it's not the first bad thing I've heard this dealer has sold.

Do not waste your time with this one , it is a REPRO ,well a fake , since it was sold to you as real . The material is not even close , and look at these keyholes ??? WTF !. You would see that same print only on late war Zeltbahn like Tom already stated .
Return it.

I agree button holes are a dead give-away. Same type of button holes can be seen on the repro Honk Kong Keith Stug wrappers. Also the material just looks too new like it was just made yesterday and probably was. Does it have any smell to it? Real items have a military smell to it like the old days when you went into an army surplus store.
As for the 60% discount is because he says he's going out of buisness. When he gets to the last cpl days he extends the going out of buisness date and ups the discount

hi guys thanks for all the reply,s i saw only some pictures from a distance when i wanted to buy it, when it arrived it hadnt a smell to it, nore does it have been folded for years..
going after it when he doenst return it the welt is for you sheik..
