thank you for the answer and the pic´s,buth it seems that you have too different types of "container", so must this not meen that it excist 2 typ of "container" and therfor 2 typ of model-year?regards ola

Hi 1osten,
Yours is a weather-proof container for a personal chute as used by paratroopers. It is the later type as witnessed by the 3 flutes in the side of the tin ( Earlier tins were green and had no flutes ).
The other tin shown is for a cargo chute.
May I suggest you post the same question on the Fallschirmjager forum, where all the parachute experts hang-out. They can help you with the date.
