    German Bandages

    Greetings All,

I am researching the contents of German Medical Pouches and Boxes. I would be interested in seeing photos of bandages and other items along with their use, dimensions, and which pouch, box, or container they were supposed to be in.

I've seen photos on this forum of some extensive and impressive collections. It would help me a lot to view photos of the different bandages, compresses, and other bandage related items. Translations would be helpful too!

Thanks in advance for your time,

    Randall

This should get you started. Pictured is the standard vehicle first aid kit. This one is 100% complete based on the inventory label on the inside lid. Case is dated 1938.

    Regards,
    Ed

Allow me to welcome you on this board officially! It's nice to see another medical collector overhere

Here's one of the more recent threads in which the correct contents for medical S-pouches (Sanitäter) is discussed.
