    whats up with these markings?

hey Guys, Glenn here. I saw these boots on ebay. I feel they are 100% legit in manufacture. my only concern/amazement are the markings that are found ALL over the boots. not only have I never seen so many markiongs on an item before but the markings themselves just dont look the part at to me at all. could these be real? I just cant believe they are but at the same time why would someone stamp on such unusual markings all over the place. I think that would obviously lessen the overall value. others thoughts...? Glenn

No, they are 99% textbook WW2. The only percent is only for markings. Never seen something like that but why not ? These boots are mint and we can believe that these kind of marks are made with ink and then disapear after less than one day of use. BTW, I like them.

I know that a lot of genuine german winterboots (but how many) came out from Czech Republik these days.

I could believe that. good theory. it would reason why they are there. to mark them in such a way to sell for money purposes sure seems stupid. Glenn

              Hello
They are mint , but not complete . You still can see the red marker ,from the construction . The markings are on every pieces of leather , so probably , just used as a marker , before assembly , since some of them were definitely stamped before assembly.
