Marching boots
Hello out there,
What superb examples of footwear.
I had only one reply to my thread asking the value of a pair of Gebirgsjaeger boots, unworn, stamped on sole 31 1/2 and 6 with RB Nr inside.
I've been offered these - I really want a pair of standard low boots, unissued, and thought they'd be a compromise meanwhile. As well as the value, what English size do they equate to?
Any advice gratefully received (thanks for your contribution J Philip)

Hi
I would say a 31 1/2 is like a european 44-45...what a mess with all those different size measurements....

Hi Kration, would you be so kind and post a picture of the inside of the sole of the low boots? I am interested whow the stitching looks like and how wide the insole is.
It is interesting that the marching boots posted first are lined with leather and are not only made of one layer material.
Thank you !
Regards
Jan
