    German or italian boots?

    Hi mates,
got this mint condition pair of periond boots, not sure what they are.Pressed markings: GRUPPE I, Si 392 , 10 43 4012 , ink stamp inside XVII/1/4/8/44. My theory is they are italian boots overtaken by Germans. Any idea ? Thank you for reply.
    Best

And what about pressed marking GRUPPE I ? Is not it in german language ?

            ?

I don't know why Gran Sasso says this... I see beautiful Austrian craftmanship over there...

Remember that not all German gj boots had the wool stripe.

But correct me please if I'm wrong.
