the pouch looks the part to me.
I take it there is no paper label left on the gas cape? Im not familiar with trop capes so I hate to comment on it. looks like a weird material the cape is made of. but as I said, I dont really know trop stuff that much. Glenn

the set is OK, and this Gasplane pouch is a one looker. Suitable for DAK or even late war display.

in pic #8 it looks like there is a material covering the actual gas cape. are my eyes seeing this right? and if so, does anyone know what the purpose of that material is for? the standard gas capes dont have material on them. Im not disputing its authenticy, just wondering whats the purpose.

All is fine and good. Cape is made of vinyl ( not paper as other ones so it has no right to have paper label on it ) . I had the same one . It sould be marked on the one of the corners . Pouch also is good - I have exacly the same - only difrence is the date . Mine is marked elq 43/9 .Comment
