    Tactical sign

    Take a look at this tactical sign. What are your opinions? Transportation unit? Genuine?

    Any ideas which unit? Maybe somebody has similar signs?

      hello,

      i can't say if this battalion HQ pennant is genuine.
      it could be IMO.

      the tactical sign is for motorized infantry.
      grass green color is for a panzergrenadiere unit.
      yellow sign is a divisional symbol.
      "I" is for first battalion staff.

      my hypothesis is that it could identify stab of I Abt. of either Pz.Gren.Rgt. 5 or 25, attached to 12. Pz.Div.,
      but after july 1942.

        derka, thanks for your help. I think you are right about 12 panzer division and panzer grenadier regiments. This sign was found in Latvia (last battle place of this division).
