DAK ammo can

I was at an antique mall and there was a German ammo can there for around $50. The can was in bad shape with about half covered in rust. However you could for sure see DAK tan paint. The can was funtional but I could find no waffenampts. Was I wise to let it go? It was in pretty poor condition.

It was likely painted in "ordnance tan" and based on your description, I would have passed on it too
