    dear group,
    any idea what these containers out of stamped sheet metal were used for? they do come in two sizes. 73x41x35 cm for the large one, the other is roughly a third smaller (mine is stamped gfr42). a general purpose crate or eventually an officers chest?

    hm... not an expert.. but they could be a left side all purpose boxes of the Panzer II L "Luchs" (Lynx) ??

      definetly not vehicle related. this is a mass produced storage box. the metal handles make an awful noise, when transported. mount this to an mv and you could as well mount a bell.
