heavy duty winter footwear

Hello to all


I would like to share some pictures of my pair of heavy winter duty boots. They marked and dated 1941 and in unissued condition.
The rubber soles are fixed with smal nails to the wooden parts. I know that there are some varities on these boots, so it would be nice to see them...

Sorry no digital camera yet and they certanly won't fit on my scanner, but they are exactly the same as yours. I've seen some real Frankensteins! but at the time I was into other things.
