    Strange fork-spoon combo

    Gentlemen!
    I have never seen a "g******246;ffel" shaped like the one above (the one below is a common one). The markings should be ok, but the shape...
    So is it a German issue (some variant), or Swiss or something else?

    Any comment is appriciated!

          Thanks for your comment! I always thought that the later models were made of steel without any mods on the shape.
          I have only ones of this shape.

            nice examples Tamas. "GNL" is definitely a German war period maker marked stamp. they also made mess tins, cups and canteens. Glenn

                Nice original one.
                Later in the war soldiers were isued with the full set of fork, spoon ,can opener and knife.
