    Tragbüchse für Gasmaske M-38

Here is a nice M-38 gas mask can. Would like to see other models and camo examples. While Fallschirmjaeger didn't jump with these, many carried them in their ground combat role.

    Best,

I agree that manys FJs carried these. I had a nice ordnance tan camo can that was marked to a Fallschirm Flak unit.

Here is a tan/green camo can that nicely matches the tan/green camo seen on so many FJ camo helmets that originated from the Normandy battlefield.

That camo-can is very nice, Willi

thought that I would share this one.

In fact I have this one for over 10 years now and posted it already for discussion on another forum in the past. The paint is not removable, I always was told that white-wash could easely be taken off. Is it possible that this was once white-wash, but over the years became permanent? It has been applied by way of brushing...

In all other aspects this gasmaskcan is correct in wear and age ( honest look, some deep brown rust ( not that yellow color) threw the paint and 'white-wash'. Paint doesn't smell

It is also named, a certain Ltn. Pack.

Some opinions would be great ! If you need more pics, let me know

      cheers

      Jan

Now, this one... I don't know what to think. I bought it once from a online dealer. I'm aware that this was done in the field to transport plasma.
But if this particular one is good, I don't know ...anyway nice for display

                  Nothing special though.
Here a small typ canister marked 1937.

Like I already said before, Jos, you're fieldgear ( and all your items in general) are really in ' mint' condition, great!!

thanks for the pictures. I like them

                      groetjes
