    Field medical box.

    Hello,I found this medic box in my area,in the village of Stoumont.
    I vote for a field made items,but never seen one like that before.Thanks for regards.

              Fred, looks like some sort of field-altered box. Not "textbook" medical at all, that's for sure. IMO definatly german ww2 though.

              Pitty about the original colour, as the red primer is mainly visible everywere.

              Nevertheless, very neat piece if you ask me, even in that condition!

              Reminds me of your previous post about the sanitätspouches. You should be supprised how many field made/altered kit was used by medical personal during the war.

                Yes, very interesting field piece.
                A friend of mine have a wood Verbandkasten, "hand made" but with sand paint.
