      FL = Flieger
      LN = Luftwaffe Nachrichten

      I've seen pics of signal troops using these double barrel guns to guide some Stuka's..

                  Hi Fsoq,

                  To answer your question, this kind of flare gun (Model L) can be found from 250/300 € (I miss one a few days ago on a sales web site in France) to .. more .
                  I've seen one asking for 600 € but he is still waiting for a buyer !!

                  Believe in patience.. That's what I'm doing too.

                  Hope it helps.

                      Flare gun Info

                      I too bought a flare gun today at an estate sale. Mine looks identical to this one, but only has one barrel. It is stamped with 11 national eagles in various parts of the gun (most of those have the number 280 underneath it) and is serial number 376. The barrel assembly and frame are matching numbers. Being new to the board if I can figure out how to post a pic I will. Any help would be apprreciated. Alex
