    Tropical Low Ankle Boots ?

Hi Folks, these boots were discovered in the eastern part of Germany and now offered to me. They appear to be tropical low ankle combat boots and they are still looking very nice. I only have these pics available, so I would appreciate some more serious suggests about them, which means -is there anybody who has a good knowledge about German WW2 tropical foot wear ?? I do not know any longer, if these are original period pre May1945 and if they are KM,HEER or Luftwaffe, etc. (for me they look O.K., but you never know!). Any serious help would be great. Thanks in advance :-)

They're nice looking Luft type kopies with the Heer type of hooks,no more...,similar pair or maybe the same pair being offered on Ebay currently..
They miss a couple of essential features...
Now these have artificial aged soles with the almost mint middle part which normally should look dried when having soles in this condition.
Don't see any markings either on that part.
They improved the leather and the shape, the canvas hmmm..,inside of the shoe looks wrong, they miss the reinforced nose, some other small things,etc...
Only by the pics I come to 7 errors.
Certainly a pair that'll fool a lot of people though.

Same with all those tropical boots.
Funny thing is when a nice original pair of trop.Luft boots are offered for 900 on Ebay nobody takes them, while the other 99% of fakes always have many bidders.

Oh,sorry...,yes,the link are the same shoes as the shoes in question.
                Rather convincing fakes IMO.

Concerning the long boots, that was a general speaking..,saw a nice pair lately on Ebay and they didn't sell.

                Jos.

Hi guys...yes, these are not original German boots. I have an identical pair but with more of a shark nose to them. They are supposedly Czech boots??? The features are very similar to Luftwaffe boots and in some respects the second pattern of Heer boots, but definately NOT original. There is a place in the UK that sells these to reenactors.

                  cheers

                  Steve

ps....G'day Mike! How are you buddy?
