Neat backpack. I don't think it is Wehrmacht issue but it could be a commercial item. I have a child-size poncho made from Zeltbahn material that is a similar type of item. I think it is possible that some commercial items were made with splinter camo material.

I think it could be field made backapck - I've seen such items on pictures from II WW. But it could also made by civilian after war. It hard to say !!

Hello
There is another thread about these cammo backpack. It was posted few month ago. If you do a search for backpack ,you shall find it.
IMO ,it could be pre 1945 ,as it is very well made.
Just for your info ,as a mentioned before , my Dad got one in Germany from a store ,brand new made ,in 1950 ,while serving in the army.
