This may seem an oddball question, especially regarding the nature of the thread.

What, if any, is the significance of the initials scratched onto the front of messtin?

Myself, and a buddy both have messtins, each was purchased from a separate source, yet both have "K St" scratched onto the front of the tins.

Your photos of the Mica kits are great. I have one that is nearly complete, the only items missing are the scissors, and the narrower of the two long brushes. Do you have any idea where I might be able to pick these two items up? I will post photos when I have time.
