    MP38/40 pouches...

    Hello guys,

I'm new at this forum but I allready took allook at this forum many times, so I know that there is allot of expertise at this forum. Now that I'm a member of this forum I have a question for you guys right away...

I've had the possibility of buying these MP38/40 pouches for a very nice price and I would consider them as very original, but I would like to have the opinion of you guys too. So please let me know what you guys think about them.

And I'm also curious about their worth because I'm planning on selling these baby's. You see, they don't really fitt into my collection. I collect stuff of the war in the air in ww2(RAF, RCAF, RAAF, RNZAF, USAAF, Luftwaffe) and the anti air war(Flak and so on).
I hope you guys can help me out..

Leather parts are artifically aged for sure, some other details are not correct. Clearly a fake (I am not joking this time).

In a email I already spoke out my concerns about these MP38/40 pouches, it’s a pity to say, but they are fake.<O</O
Like Fullriede say’s artificially aged, but not only the leather, the fabric and metal parts as well.<O</O
Also the “fat” WAa stamps always gives me the creeps on these things, not that its always fake when they are on them, but fakes will tray to convince you and will use every “tool” to reach that goal.<O</O
Send them back where they came from, if possible.<O</O

Thank you all for you honest opinion! The seller of these pouches was indeed selling me fake pouches. I know that for sure because he's is selling another pair of pouches at Ebay.com that looks exactly the same.

Here's the link to that auction:

            http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...Pr4_PcY_BID_IT

I allready paid for the pouches, but tomorrow I'm going to my bank to cancel the money transfer if that's still possible. Otherwise I hope he's wise and just returns the money for the pouches to me. If he's not, I have to involve Ebay and the police in this case because he is selling fake pouches as if they are original and he knows it!!!!

By the way, he's very dumb for a seller of fake items. He says he guarantees the originality of his items. He even has an money-return included with the auction for when someone finds out that he bought a fake item from this seller. Well I'm certainly gonna use this money-retrurn!!!

Indeed, but I had his telephone number so I called him today and had a chat with him over the phone. He really insured me that he didn't knew it were fake pouches. He sells hundreds of items not only at ebay but also in his own shop in the Czech Republic so he can't know of all of them if they are original or not. He only collects weaponary and daggers so from the other ww2 stuff he don't know very much as he said.

Anyway he confirmed that he is willing to transfer the money back to my bankaccount just as he promissed in his Ebay auctions if I want that or I can send him a list of items I'm looking for and he can take allook if he can help me with that.
But if I'm going for the second option I will ask you guys first what you think of the item, I'm willing to buy, before I buy it from this guy.

Thank you guys aigan for your help!!!

I would go for option one, before he sends you more Tsjech souvenirs.
