I spotted that one also and Iam 100% with you on all your points. First I was happy to see one for sale, but after looking at all of his pics I became more and more concernd. And after looking at all his other items I thought to pass on this one.
I also have many other boxes but none of them has painted metall fittings.
I personaly would and will pass on this one.

Hi Adam, no problem. I think we will not do wrong when passing on the box. It simply doesnt give a good feeling. He also sells ww2 repro WH color and so on.
There will be a good one for both of us, Iam sure.

That seems odd for a "like new" crate.
No weigth indication on the side as well.
I wonder how it is possible for a crate with rusty nuts and bolts, worn ropes and a dirty interior, to have such an immaculate outer hull...Comment
