Antonio, do you may have infos on this pattern ?

Because the next study on the UGIF archives by Michel Laffitte said that the one and only design for the French Yellow Star was made on copper and wooden plates, plates that were used from 1942 up to 1944.
The design was made by the Deberny et Peignot company of Paris, and was confirmed by Theodor Dannecker, the Judenberater of the Sipo-SD in Paris :

I never heard of a different design so far, and I never found this pattern in French archives or museums.

I should add that a special 500-Yellow Star order was made on September 30, 1942. Those Yellow Stars were made in celluloid for the administrative members of the UGIF that had to welcome the public in the UGIF HQ. Those Yellow Stars were removable, as they had to be wear on indoor clothes of those UGIF members.

I may work in the future on the French variations of the Yellow Stars with the Mémorial de la Shoah archives.

Hi Vince, it is years that I research this field me too.
I made a classification of all the original stars from different nations I found.
Several are in my collection.

Anyway, my answer is yes, there were at least 5 different patterns of the yellow star used by french jews, and all them are recognized.

I show you a picture where 6 different types are compared.

Also for the yellow stars used by german jews there were 6 patterns.
