The basic strap looks to be a nice original. The real question is when was the SS / RZM stamp added, and I cannot answer that one. I didn't see this particular maker mark in either Siegert's book or in Wittmann's book. So I can't say if it is an SS hanger or an NSKK hanger with spurious SS / RZM markings.

Not much help, I know, but perhaps someone with more knowledge will come forward.

Perhaps you would get some information by posting it on the "Daggers and Edged Weapons" forum.
