Just for clarification. This hat is made of a black tricot material. Have you seen reproduction SS M43 caps made in tricot before. So sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks, Tom.

The trapezoid on this cap is original IMO.

You're probably aware that the subject of M43's with HBT linings is a highly contentious one and I doubt this cap is going to change that situation.

In a situation like this Tom, my advice would be to take control for yourself.

In other words, go an study and research and prove that this cap is authentic because believe me, no one is going to do it for you and most are quite happy to judge based on out of date knowledge that was passed down via dubious sources..
