SS-Sonderkommando Jüterbog

Have any of you collectors out there some information regarding the SS-Sonderkommando Jüterbog, insignia etc?

They did join the LSSAH in 1933, but it would be interesting to see if someone has some pictures of the insignia of Jüterbog.

Hi Chris,

I have only seen a short sentence about Jüterbog, and this in Roger James Bender & Hugh Page Taylor’s book: Uniform, Organization and History of the Waffen SS, Volume 2.

But no insignia.

Members of the training company Sonderkommando Jüterbog in 1933 would have worn a collar patch with the SS runes on their black uniform and no insignia on their drill tunics.

My bad, the SS-Sonderkommando Jüterbog was created in 1933, so my latest post has no value! The Panzer Division Jüterbog was created in February of 1945.

On 3 September 1933 the SS-Sonderkommando Jüterbog and Zossen was implemented in the SS-Sonderkommando Berlin under Dietrich's command.

And again this went to be Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, LAH, and then they change the name again; this time to Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, LSSAH.

It’s very difficult to find some information regarding the SS-Sonderkommando Jüterbog. It didn’t exist for very long, but still, there should be “some” information...
