I prefer owning items like this: Nothing earth shattering, but it proves I know my way around Real badges, and I am far more Savvy than you tried to paint me as.

John, thats a nice beginnerscollection , but these few items prove nothing, if anything only that you spent a few bucks on a few badges. Literally everyone can do that. It all seems a big deal to you though?

The book by Nanno in 't Veld you posted an internetsearch image of is a great work, still the best on the Dutch SS written to date. Im sure you googled for more than 30 seconds and read that the documents published in his TWO books (you only show part 2) originated from the American Berlin Document Centre? Mighty interesting and indeed an obligated read for anyone who wants to learn more about the Dutch/Germanic SS. Im sure you've read since yesterday both books in a language you don't understand, countless times cover to cover like i did for the past 25 years. One tinny detail: they are unfortunately not related to to this particular subject in this topic, and that is something you seem to miss or purposely not want to tell? Of course you can show a photo of potato and scream you know everything about cucumbers, but...anyway, the point is clear i guess. Oh, by the way, if ever you visit the Netherlands and visit the fair i organise, i can introduce you to the author.

No not me, and i dont want to either. The forum and collectors win. If i hadn't stepped in we would have seen as so often with other items before a "discussion" that without any evidence at all, talks a fake item good. The collectorsworld is already messed up enough.

True: I have only read - no - I have devoured with interest- the English Summary. Since you know the work so well, you know there is an English Summary. And it is damned well-written. I have had that document on my phone for at least three months, and you are right, there is zero reference to the ‘Dutch SS Sports Badge,’ but there are a lot of other items I think you know about. I didn’t look it up in thirty minutes in google, as you suggested. I really enjoy that book. Thanks for letting me know there is another volume.
