Hi all,
Just wanted to clear up a few questions ive had for a while regarding SS arm bands.
I know all ranks wore the band on the pre war black uniform, but i was wondering if or when these arm bands stopped being worn? Did it become more of a ceremonial item?
Also, what significance did the material have, be it wool or cotton?
lastly, the tag. What came first, the paper or black cloth tags? And what information can one gather from the type of tag? Such as pre war or war time production.
Thanks so much! Looking forward to some help!
Kyle.
