      I agree - I’m no expert by any means, but on this badge, half metal and half embroidered makes no sense to me.

            The tag on this patch appears to be the same type of tag used by this tailor on the reverse of medal bars assembled by them. A tailor shop like that would not necessarily embroider items, and if they did we would se more of their work on other items.

            So in short I would have my doubts.

              not even the least sign of white alu corrosion or haze, suspicious on its own since originals of this badge date to the early '30s. I think I detect the fragrant aroma of curry...
