    Private Filmrole from Heydrich

I have the chance to buy around 60 Filmroles and a Projector from a private Estate. Of course i watch it first before i buy it, but Mostly all Films are from WW2 and Private made. The Guy who film it was himself an LW Officer in the War. There are Tons of very unique Material from Celebrations to Funerals. A lot of KC Winners are on it too....but one Film in special was put me on Highalert I was looking it i guess 20 times the last few days, and it is Heydrich in his LW Uniform. What i see it is a kind of Celebration for the 1000st Feindflug. Can someone estimate what something like this would be worth? There is not really any reference on what i can fix the price, so maybe here someone knows more....

Well, without seeing photos or part of the real film that would really be very difficult to judge...please upload some photos...

It is not that easy....first record with phone then put it on Computer then do a Screen Shot and then post it. And keep in mind there are a Ton of Roles too. So here are the first Pictures. As i wrote already its stuff from everything including Films from Cockpit from fights and absolute all is unseen Footage. But for me this still Heydrich tops it all

I would call this very much unique Material. To see a actual Dogfight on a Board Camera from the Cockpit of a german Plane.

Thank you! I say the same. You can pay 10k plus for a KC but that cant tell you any story you just can put it on Display and say hurra.....something like this you can watch for hours. And i am just at Nr.4 from 60, i am sure there is a lot more to find on them.

                          Wow!

I don’t have any idea of price so cannot answer your question but it is very interesting!

The Heydrich film is very important.

Maybe post a link to this in the photo section, some very knowledgeable members there who could help.

                          Chris.

I would highly recommend you have these films copied over to DVD. I used to do this type of work as part of my business(now retired) and the cost at least then was around 10 cents per foot. Note that this included cleaning the film and making any necessary repairs. FYI: Repeatedly running the film, which is pushing 80 years old, thru a projector is stressful to the film and I don't recommend it.
If what was filmed can be identified and put into some logical order you may have a valuable resource there.

I'm with Jim. Congratulations on the find, but please do try and get this preserved as soon as possible. It would be a shame to lose it.
