Price will always be decided by what you and the buyer are happy with. The cap is typical in its construction and absolutely fine.
It's a nice piece damaged or not.
I agree around 1500 USD, even with the repair. A nice safe SS PZ cap with the cardboard bill, originally stitched trap and classic HBT liner counts for something as well. No one will be second-guessing the authenticity of this one.
