Need help to indentify a SS-collar tab

    Hi all,

I need to find out what this young Standartenjunker is wearing on his right collar tab and his shoulder board.

I know the following: He is at Junkerschule Braunschweig, we are probably in 1938, as he finished his Vorprüfung in july 1942. It takes 4 semester, i.e. 2 years and with 18-24 months at the Junkerschule, I guess 1938 would be about right.

He came from regiment "Deutschland". Picture of this in next post.

    Thanks for any input here.!.

That's interesting...If this photo was taken when he was at Braunschweig, he should have worn the B-cypher, right?

I can't identify the cipher on the tab and boards. I'll be interested to find out what it is.

Yes, I would also expect a "B" for Braunschweig...

          doctors school

Its for the SS Arztliche Akadamie, the collar tab is a gothic "A" with a Caduceus running thru the middle under the "A", the cyphers are the same , they wore the cufftitle " SS -Artzliche AKademie " do you have any more pictures of this person wearing this pattern of insignia? Quite a nice picture showing insignia of the Doctors school .

Jimt, thanks a lot, and I do think you are right. But is it not a bit early for him..?..he should not be qualified before he passed the Junkerschule completely..?..
And where do I find info on this tab..?..do you know where I shall search..?..
And no, I do not have more photos of the tab, but ofc his cuff-title once he is at the akademie.

            Best regards,
            Hans Kristian

No , it is a gothic "A" with the rod?snake running thru the middle, I had a pair of them in my collection a long time ago and foolishly sold them , I have no picture of them but the top cap of is more stylized on the cyper but it is the same as the collar tab in real time

No, it cannot be as the man continued his medical studies at the Medical Akademie - I have his "Studienbuch" - study book from the SS-Ärztliches Akademie and the University in Graz.
And photos of him as a Military Medical Doctor.
