Yep. In few first days of Warsaw Uprising the Army/SS depot wat catupred, and a lot those camo's were used by polish restistance fighters.

That's right. They were commonly worn by Warsaw insurgents. Most of them were captured at German depots ( the largest were at Stavki street ).

As requested to put this photo in this thread: found some uncommon/rare entries in a KIA SS Normandy 17. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division Götz von Berlichingen Soldbuch, concerning towards his camo equipment:

He was equipped with:

- Tarnjacke(camouflage uniform - not so uncommon entry)
- Gesichtstarnung(face camouflage veil)
- Stahlhelmüberzug(Helmet cover)

I attached a photo of 2 soldiers wearing the Gesichtstarnung and the Stahlhelmüberzug.

One can imagine how Helmut Puder looked like with his fully camouflage equipment.

It's my favorite modified pullover picture.
They have done all there is to do to the garments and the Italian pants round it off.
