Owen, this wonderful smock has two types of thread used for stichting. Black/green and off white. Why did they use two types?

Mostly 1 type but on a typical sewing line its common to see several types.

Nice collection of WSS smocks. Personaly like much more M42 smock than those early models ( M38 and M40 ).
