Thanks to Owen and Jim for taking the time to post and share details on these STUNNING caps!! Would love to see one in hand one of these days.
QUESTIONS : Owen- including yours, how many caps (that you feel are original) are you aware of in U.S. collections? *Also, in today's market, what would be an average price on a cap (understanding that different patterns can command a higher price)? *Now that you are done showing off my caps, could you please return them? *Finally, which organ do you feel I will need to sell to finance a cap or even two?? BTW Owen- Thanks for your reply to my story where I "spilled the beans on myself"!
KIND REGARDS- FRANK

The answers to your questions are hard
I walk around a typical SOS would give some answers
When Jerome Blake was alive he was the guy who had a few caps.
You may see several on tables that looked real but were not.
There may have been 1 or 2 other real ones and 1 under the table for sale
I know a cap would cause a Buzz of excitement among Cammo Collectors
They are obviously very rare and the other examples posted here are ones I have not handled.
I know there is a mint patched up one out there.
Jerome showed my a bunch back in the day and I know he had at least 3 left when he died.
