Not really the right forum for this item but these are faked even more than ICs.

The snap on design to me yell out movie or stage prop or one of the many many thousands of Printed Konzentrationslager rememberance stars that are about.

I believe these had to be sewn on and I think the fasteners are post war US

Post in tony Barto Ss forum. But the back is a post war creation. Front might be ok it's a French language Jewish star, but honestly it is not looking good just from the backing.

The snap back attachment system didn't gain popularity in France until the end of the war. I cant say on originality, but if original, it could have simply had a postwar use.

I'd lean toward a bad piece though seeing that trait.

I'm only aware of them being sewn on...?
