    Dachau prisoner hat?

    So, you guys were right asking for asking if there were more Dachau pieces besides the fez. Everything this guy had, his Grandfather brought back from Dachau. He pulled out this cap and said his Grandfather told him it was a prisoner cap. What I don't get is where is the blue stripes. Im assuming some didnt come with stripes? Don't think it was ever used whatever it is.

        i dont know abaut the item,but my father has in collection waffen ss dot trousers with inside pockets made from this cloth ,this pair come from KZ Dachau lot.

          Thats pretty standard oatmeal hbt, used on lots of items....Heer/Luft drill jackets and trousers, pocket linings, etc.

            In the very early days of KZ camps, prisoners did were these kind of plain HBT clothes and hats. I have seen pictures of these before. I will search for them...
