I don't understand. What do you mean "The price says it all."
It is at first time what I am reading something like that.

Construction, material and stitching looks very well. I like it.

Why should a military dealer (in this case Michael Dick) sell an original cap for one tenth of what he could get, if the cap really was original? Just to be nice?

It means that in my opinion (and that of my colleague) the cap was not original and that the very low starting price reflected that opinion.

I bought original camo cap on eBay for only 590E some times ago, here on WAF SS Officers Hat w original applyed insignias for 4000E and SS tunic with original stitched insignias for 3000USD

they are fakes also? because it was cheap?

A lot of items are very overpriced!

Price never ever have somthing to do with the originality.

I bought some years ago a Luft Bukle at ciney show for 15€ for my collection, it was in MINT-Condition and last year i sold it here on e-stand fast for around 200.

last year a WAF-Member bought at lagleize a ss sidecap with original applied insignia for 500, it was sold here on e-stand for lots more........ and a friend got a original ss aluminiumbukle for 20€ ......... i can give you lot more of this storys.

And on ebay most items start at 1€ and then the go fast high

That i do not write (i have no expirienc with this camo caps, so i do not judge on them).
I only like to say the price never say enything about the originality, you can get reproductions for the cash of an original

about the cap in question i would say original matherials, but stiched together after 1945 from spareparts or something

I can just say - these are some things that make me run away from the hobby as some people clearly made it business. And not the dealers type of business, but this one where you see some good item from a collector to sell you wanna buy it and he says its gone already and after a week you see the say item for sale from another guy asking 80% more.

Great, OK, I was wrong to say the price was an indication of a fake. Black is white and white is black. That's fine.

I still wouldn't buy that cap though.
