    Unusual camo smock on period magazine cover

    Hi,

    I found this magazine today. The description says it is a Fallschirmjäger but the smock looks like an SS cut piece. I have never seen this sort of camo scheme. Has anyone seen that before or knows what it is?

        I am thinking its period photographer cleaned up -painted.

        Not a hand painted pattern.

        Its got a wide box placket so looks like an early jacket.
        Could be a block.

        Thanks for posting....its one I have never seen before.
