Try Weitze he hase a copple real ones.

Simply put, there are many different variations of LAH monogram in collections and dealer sites At least more than seven and each of them is believed to be original of you ask them but if you ask me I personally believe only in two of those variations as i found a proof for them to be original. Unfortunately The one you showed is not one of them neither one on weitze site

At the bottom left hand side of the letter A has a gap between it and the letter L is that normally found on these?

Poorly cast fake lacking in detail. Even from wear they do no look this bad.

Even if the cypher were real, the board would be a post war assembly. One of the pips would have been in the shoulder seam.
