early SS-VT eagle on black wool

    Hello all,

I have been told this is an early SS-VT eagle that's mounted on black wool though to me looks much like the RZM Dachau style eagle. Which is correct for this one?

This is early SS-VT eagle - very desirable and quite rare, like you have been told...
      Not RZM Dachau style

No, the "round head" is not a "Hammerhead style" eagle like the last you posted.

ok, that's what I thought but they are both early VT eagles in a sense, thank you.

this is a very rare eagle... and i suppose you are the man who arrived some minutes before me
100% SS VT, early and incredible underpriced... moreover in a site wellknown to do not have bargains.

fortunately... i find an hammerhead 1 type for a very good price.

would you consider this eagle which I am now posting to be early SS-VT like the one at the top of the thread or just a RZM "Dachau" variant?

                          Hey William,

Yes the last eagle you posted would also be considered a VT eagle. This particular pattern also comes in four different thread types. It was made in a dark grey, a sliver grey almost green, a dull white which you have posted, and a silver white. It's one of my favorite eagles to collect!
