Erinnerungsabzeichen der Einsatzstaffel der DM in Kroatien

Hello all
I have this badge. Fake, I know. Came as part of a lot I bought. However, it has me a bit intrigued. According to the seller, and several others I asked, it was a fantasy piece. But after some digging, I found out that this badge did exist. Apparantly its called "Erinnerungsabzeichen der Einsatzstaffel der DM in Kroatien". Weitze even has one on his site.
Does anyone here know any details regarding this award? The info online is lacking...

Croatian "ES", many of whom ended up in Prinz Eugen so i have been told.

t's the Erinnerungsabzeichen der Einsatzstaffel der DM [DM = Deutsche Mannschaft] instituted by the Volksgruppenführer Branimir Altgayer with a decree of 1st May 1943. The badge came in a bronze and a silver grade.

The ES was the equivalent to the SS for the ethnic German minority in Croatia. It was heavily involved in anti-partisan operations.

I have now also found a silver graded one for sale out there. It would appear that both grades were hollowback, with space between the runes.
