Panzer Totenkopf collar insignia

Hi, i bought this piece as an original ss panzer collar insignia from an excavation in the East. It have an imperfection between the teeth that i haven't seen before.

What's your opinion?

That is a Heer (Army) panzer tab skull and nothing to do with the SS. Try posting it on the Heer Forum for opinions.

Thanks for the replies, i paid for it 25 euros. It´s too high for a panzer skull?
Can anyone tell me the diference beteewn the SS and the Heer panzer skulls? Or the SS panzer crews never use those skulls?

Skull I think is a copy .(not orginal)
The main different betwen the early SS skuls and panzer skulls is size.
Early SS ,,Danziger type ,,skulls are larger and generaly have different pins conections
SS panzer units were using those panzer skulls on collar tabs also, but on caps they have typical SS skulls.
P.S Sometimes Russian soldiers killed German pancer crew (despite ,,normal,,killing) because by mistake they take them as SS soldiers.
