its a Size 62 are these worth a lot less over being a small size? what would be the value of this, you can inbox me or post.

A beautiful late war cover. I have one in the same pattern and mine will only safely fit a smaller size shell. The most important aspect of any cover is that it is period original.

I think the smaller sizes are more rare as most originals got used up in the war. I looked long and hard to find one for my smaller SS helmet.

So size dose not affect value much at all, also Bob there is the guy who found the hoard on the E-stand seller small sizes 62/64

That is an original cover from that recently discovered batch. They sure must have been in a hurry to make that. Fakes are not so poorly sewn together!
