For what it is worth it could be a real old put together stripped....But personally I think you have a good one there worth refurbishing.

For me it looks ok, the outline of the missing sleeve eagle and the condition off it looks like a well worn HBT combat jacket, that was worn by a SS soldier, and yes there should be no breast eagle.
