Runic tab

Hi Guys

Please could I get some opinions on this tab? The runes have oxidised and there is some kind of waxy gunk painted over the buckram which I haven't seen before. Does it stand a chance?

Aha! This is the same tab I posted awhile ago that I posted awhile ago which I have on a repro tunic. They are indeed very well made, but 100% fake. I believe these to be fairly recent reproductions.
This one has been artificially aged.
