SS hammerhead eagle?

Picked this up today , never had one with black cloth backing?

It's a nice, original early eagle but not a 'Hammerhead'.

That is an Early SS eagle , although this one IMO is much harder to find than the Hammer head. Very nice.

Thanks guys for the help. The guy had the vets ike jacket and he was 9th armored division. I had never seen the black cloth on the back before figured i better grab it. Thanks again for the help . Is this a VT eagle?

Thanks for all the positive comments on the eagle. I see prices all over on these with the double backing what do you think a fair market value would be one this one?
